Grêmio played like a Serie A team
First of all, Grêmio played like a Serie A team and not like a Serie B team.
Players took responsibility
Initially, when the team is in the relegation zone, it is time for the players to unite to save the team from relegation.
Evidently they themselves let the team get to this point, by not winning any games during the championship.
However, not all athletes have the character to fight for the team, many are already planning their transfer to Europe or another club.
As the games are taking place, what has been demonstrated on the field is a commitment to the team.
Sometimes you see the athletes cheering with each move, celebrating the goals a lot, it seems like they closed in to save Grêmio.
Mancini got the team right
Along with the team's commitment, coach Mancini seems to have found the Grêmio team.
With the presence of Ferreira, Campaz, Jhonata Robert the team became light, fast and vertical.
Veteran player Diego Souza is strong, knows how to play pivot well, has a good header and has the personality to help the boys.
In addition, the defense is well positioned, and the midfield is ready to finish. The Grêmio team is in good shape.
And it wasn't just in this game, Grêmio has been playing well in other matches. It seems that finally, hope has returned to the Grêmio fans.
A major victory
Constantly looking for a goal, the Grêmio team was awarded a penalty early on, taken by Diego Souza.
The ball was still defended, but on the rebound, the striker scored a header, 1-0.
The second goal was not long in coming, in a good move by the Grêmio attack, Campaz passed to Ferreira who rolled the ball into Lucas Silva's goal.
The third goal came in the first half, a long-range shot by Jhonata Robert into the corner, 3-0.
The score could have been even higher, goalkeeper Júlio César made some good saves.
Despite this, the Bragantino team still made it to the end, Kannemann cleared the ball off the line, which would have been Bragantino's goal.
With many reserves in the team, Bragantino did little against Grêmio. The team from Rio Grande do Sul deserved to win.
Grêmio's next games
The next game is against the already relegated Chapecoense, at Arena Condá on Saturday at 7 pm.
Afterwards, Grêmio will host Flamengo at home on 11/23 at 9:30 pm.
The fans can't celebrate yet, but a good game like this gives hope for better days.
If they win the next game, depending on the results of the other teams closest to them, Grêmio could be just 1 point away from leaving the Z4.
Grêmio is currently 4 points behind Juventude. It is certainly possible to avoid relegation.
Grêmio has already returned to Serie A football, now it's time to look for points.
